Creating An Invincible Watch From Blancpain’s Villeret Collection

Since the 1980s, Blancpain’s Villeret series has perfectly inherited the traditional essence of the brand. The classic charm never stops. In 2010, Blancpain grandly announced that it would reshape the style and image of the Villeret series. Nine new models will be introduced one by one.
In addition to classic pocket watches, there are also 8-day power reserve complex watches with moon phases and full-calendar chronograph functions. Once again, they are shocked by the technology and wisdom of heaven. After thirty years, the circular double bezel design, Roman numerals and low-key restrained elegant aesthetics have made the Blancpain Villeret series’ immortal legend. These classic design elements will echo perfectly in the new work of 2010, not only re-interpreting the Villeret style, but also injecting Blancpain’s innovative research and development movement to create impeccable watches.
The flagship model of the new Villeret series in 2010 is not the full-calendar moon phase profit and loss watch. The full-calendar moon phase technology is always the best expression of the Villeret series’ characteristic craftsmanship. BLANCPAIN dedicated built-in automatic movement (balance wheel vibration frequency: 28800 times / hour) specially equipped with anti-magnetic scale and 2 mainsprings to ensure 72 hours of power reserve. The Villeret series is complex and precise, just like a perpetual calendar watch. The adjustment method is novel, and there is no need to worry about the movement of the movement. For easy adjustment, BLANCPAIN also equipped it with a new patented adjustment device-located under the lugs. As a result, the sides of the watch are more simple and refreshing. At the same time, the wearer does not need professional tools, and only needs to lightly touch the fingertip to complete the adjustment process.
In terms of date display, the watch inherits the ancient watchmaking tradition of the 18th century, using blue steel snake hands on the dial. According to the tradition, except for the time display, the other hands on the dial are represented by a blue steel snake to identify different indication functions. This watch is available in two materials: rose gold and platinum with enamel dial.
