Breaking Two World Records The Only Panerai Auction Ended Successfully

On December 8, 2014, the ‘Panerai Only’ special auction organized and organized by the famous Artcurial was held in Paris, about 100 from Pei Nahai’s fine timepieces participated in this auction, which is divided into three series: antique watches (1930-1950), ‘Pre-Vendôme’ (1993-1997), and ‘Vendome’ (since 1997)
At this auction, two watches that have an important position in the history of Panerai both broke the world record. Among them, the first was the rare ‘Radiomir Egiziano’ watch, which was created by Panerai for the Egyptian Navy in 1956 and sold for $ 155,000, breaking the previous record of such watches.

The second is the Radiomir PAM00021 watch, a special edition of platinum produced in 1997. It was faithful to the design concept of Panerai for the Italian Navy’s Frogman Force in 1938, which was eventually sold for $ 127,000.
It is worth mentioning that there are two antique watches belonging to the Luminor Marina and Militare series. They are equipped with Rolex movements, and the transaction prices are more than 120,000 euros, which is much higher than the original estimate. In addition, the Luminor 1950 8-day power reserve watch produced in 2005 eventually sold for more than $ 80,000.
