Last Saturday night, the planetarium of the American Museum of American History in New York became the stage for a multitude of charity evenings. The evening was hosted by Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer. Its two celebrities ‘ambassadors’-American actress card Mellon Diaz and Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio attend. The party aims to raise funds for UN Women Charity and NY Cares Hurricane Sandy Relief in Diaz.

The exclusive charity event was attended by about 500 guests, including business leaders, fashion media leaders and international celebrities, many of whom made special trips to New York for the evening party. TAG Heuer’s own celebrities, Honorary Chairman and Carrera creator Jack Heuer, are among the VIP guests. Before the actors and TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin made their debut, guests watched a special performance by the New York City Ballet. For each guest, TAG Heuer promised $ 100 to the Sandy Hurricane Relief Fund in New York and another $ 100 to UN Women, a charity partner of Cameron Diaz.

Diaz wore a Link Lady Trilogy stainless steel limited edition watch and her ring and bracelet series designed with Heuer on the stage. DiCaprio also wore a personalized TAG Heuer watch, the Leonardo DiCaprio Link Calibre 16 chronograph watch, with a blue dial and sapphire glass back engraved with DiCaprio’s signature. Babin also gave Diaz a gold version of the Link Lady watch.

Proceeds from the sales of Link Lady Trilogy will be used to support UN Women’s charity, and sales of limited-edition Link Watches with blue dial LDC will support DiCaprio’s environmental charity partner Green Cross International and natural resource protection Committee (Natural Resources Defense Council, NRDC). TAG Heuer has been participating in environmental protection activities with DiCaprio since DiCaprio visited its La Chaux-de-Fond factory in 2010.
